Philoderm 15% TCA Peeling 50ml
What it’s for: Smoothing texture & pores, evening tone (dark spots/PIH), softening fine lines, boosting radiance.
What’s inside: 15% Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) in a water/alcohol vehicle for controlled, superficial coagulation.
Effect: Refines surface, clarifies, and promotes a more even, luminous complexion.
Application (pro): Thin, even layer (≈1.5–2.0 ml for face), work in zones. Endpoint: uniform erythema/light Level-I frosting. Do not neutralize—rinse with water and cool. 3–4 sessions every 4–6 weeks.
Important: Daily SPF 50+; resume actives only after full re-epithelialization. Use conservatively on darker or sensitive skin (test spot, shorter contact/layers); avoid on irritated or freshly tanned skin.
Ingredients
-
15% Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) – controlled, superficial coagulation for a smoother, more even skin surface
-
Water/Alcohol vehicle – ensures even spread and reproducible clinical endpoints
Indications
-
Tone & texture irregularities (fine lines, rough surface)
-
Dyschromia (dark spots, post-inflammatory discolorations)
-
Pore appearance – clarifying and refining effect
-
Suitable for all skin tones; for higher Fitzpatrick types use a test spot and a conservative approach (shorter contact time/fewer layers)
How to use (professional use)
-
Prep: Thoroughly cleanse and degrease the skin; protect sensitive areas (inner eye corners, nostrils, lip border) with barrier cream. Pause retinoids 3–7 days prior; daily SPF 50+ is mandatory.
-
Application: Apply thinly and evenly with a fan brush/gauze (face typically 1.5–2.0 ml). Work in zones; optionally build 1–3 layers until the desired endpoint is reached.
-
Endpoint: Uniform erythema to a light, dusty “frosting” (Level I). If clear, confluent frosting appears (Level II–III), stop immediately.
-
Neutralization: TCA is not chemically neutralized. After reaching the endpoint, remove excess with plenty of water and cool/soothe the skin.
-
Series & intervals: 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Downtime varies; peeling/flaking over subsequent days is possible.
-
Aftercare: Apply soothing, barrier-supporting care immediately after; wear SPF 50+ daily. Resume actives (retinoids/AHAs/BHAs) only after full re-epithelialization.
Safety notes: Do not use on irritated/damaged skin, active infections/inflammation, or freshly tanned skin. For darker skin tones, dose conservatively (shorter contact time, fewer layers, test spot) and maintain strict photoprotection.
